March Recap

On March 1^st, the team successfully submitted the registration packet for official entry into the 2026 Solar Car Challenge.  This registration packet included the entry fee that was provided by the RTC Education Foundation.  We are incredibly grateful for their support.  The registration packet also included almost 100 pages of technical diagrams, electrical schematics, data sheets, component specification sheets, and other important design information pertaining to our solar car.  We already know that our design, especially our electrical schematic, have been revised, but fortunately, the competition organizers allow revisions!  That is the nature of a project such as this.  We design, test, learn, and revise continuously.

The team was very busy over spring break.  We had 4 work days and completed several subsystem projects and bench tests.  We also had an opportunity to lend a hand at Festival Hill for the annual plant sale organized by the Pioneer Unit of the Herb Society of America.  The Pioneer Unit kindly made a donation to our project!
