recap
November Recap.
November lead us into one of our most productive months for RTC Solar. We began our fundraising campaign, finished welding the roll-bar for the frame, gained more team skills, and learned about elevator speeches.
In the shop, some great progress was made as our resident welders finished welding the roll-bar and moved on to refining other structural components of the frame. other members rotated through different tasks, ensuring everyone had the chance to build hands-on experience with the tools and techniques needed for future stages of the project.

By the end of the month, everyone on the team was very ecstatic. We had made visible progress on the vehicle, strengthened our communication abilities, and forged deeper connections as a group. November served as a monumental stepping stone on the solar cars competition. With this progress, we are excited to carry the same dedication into the coming months as we continue building and preparing for what lies ahead.
Fundraising
As the month progressed, our fundraising efforts began to gain real momentum. We reached out to local businesses, community members, and school partners, sharing our mission and inviting them to support the growth of RTC Solar. Each conversation helped us refine our messaging and better understand what resonates with potential donors. The response we received was both encouraging and motivating, pushing us to expand our outreach even further.
November also brought new opportunities for personal and professional development. Through discussions and short practice sessions, we explored the art of the elevator pitch – how to communicate our project clearly, concisely, and enthusiastically in just a few seconds. These skills proved invaluable, not only for fundraising but also for preparing team members to step into leadership roles during public events and competitions.
