October Recap.
October was a great month for the RTC solar car team. The team was able to complete a mockup of the frame, begin the process of welding the actual frame, and acquired the steel necessary for fabrication.
Through this hard work the team also got closer together. Through learning via projects and “doing” the team gains skills not only in engineering and fabrication, but also in teamwork and communication.
Undoubtedly the team did go through a large amount of mistakes to make it to the point we are now. Whether that be cutting a roll hoop too short or breaking a bender, the team always pulls through and makes the mistake into a learning opportunity.
